My first real horse had to be put down suddenly tonight.
I got her when I was like 8. She was a arab. Her name was Magic. She was a handful to ride though and she ended up being my mothers horse much more than mine. But god she loved to lick your hands...she was always so sweet on the ground. She was so wonderful.
She was 25....we thought it was colic, but the vet thinks it was something else. She went into shock and we put her down rather than let her suffer....
I have torn the house up and can't find a picture of her.....they are all at my Mother's house. I am so upset.
I did cut a lenght of her tail before it was too late, I plan to make some sort of memorial, but I am not sure what really....a pony doesn't seem serious enough, but might be the most appropriate...I just don't know yet.
Its a hard night. |

So I post lots of stuff on my "groups" here at LJ...but not much in my personal page. Sorry guys...want to learn more go to my DA page...I tend to update more. However here are some basic updates...
I get to fix up a 1948 Chevy coupe...sooo happy about this project. Imagine this one in a parade with a fursuit mascot on top? Totally fun!
I am selling LOTs of my ponies to buy some stuff I want...first to fix up the car, second to buy a new birdcage for erin's parrot...and other stuff I want.
I am going on vacation to NewMexico on Labor Day weekend...and I can't bloody wait!
I had new training this weekend at work...so I am way behind on art commissions. Sorry guys...but I will be caught up soon.
I am bored of talking about myself now. I need more real life friends..... |

no...god help us no........
One of our lesbian couple friends lost their kids today. The father who was at one point married to one of the pair sued for custody and won. Now they only get supervised weekends just because they are gay. They are not allowed to take the children into the bedroom (at all!!!). I hate this fucking state. The guy involved cheated on his wife....gave sperm to another lesbian couple and has nothing to do with that child...and is not a better parent. The judge told them he didn't want to have to, but va law said he must. I can NOT live here once we have kids. This is FUCKED UP!! Fuckljdfhfrbjk;rkljfe |

letter I wrote to moviegallery tonight...gosh this pissed me off....
I just has a horrid experience at the Kilmarnock, VA 22482. I had a problem with a movie I had rented just that night (not two hours previous) "Are we there yet?". The movie was so scratched up (DVD) that I had to skip entire chapters to view it. I took it back to the store and stood at the return side of the counter for over 10 mins. I asked for help several times and was ignored by a woman who was checking in returned movies. Her name was Linda Butler. She waited on one other person and then just went right back to checking in movies. Finally I had had enought and said "Excuse Me" quite loudly, she turned around and shouted "What?" at me. I explained the problem with the movie and asked her what she could do about it. She offered me the same movie and I explained that since I had seen the end, I did not want the same movie. She said "Fine, whatever." and snatched the movie out of my hands and went back to what she was doing. I told her I was not satisfied and I wanted to speak to the manager. If she thought I was just tring to get a free movie, she could have looked up my account to see that I have rented with this company for a long time and have NEVER had this problem, nor gotten a "free movie" by lying. And she could have looked at the DVD and seen the horrid scratches. She shouted from across the cashier area that the manager was not there and would not be in until tomarrow. I asked for a card or name. She shouted "Lindsay". "No." I said. "I want it written down." She started writing and took over 3 minutes to write only "Lindsay Fri. at 310 clock". I then asked for her name too. "Whatever" she mumbled. She added her name Linda Butler to the bottom of a yellow post it that she practically threw at me. I am beyond angry with the unprofessional approach this woman gave me. She was no teenager and should have known how to treat a long-term customer. I will call the manager tomarrow. I appreciate you resolving this issue for me promptly. Thank you for your time. |

i hate my job...
I normally get to leave on satudays (I work every 4th weekend) by 3 or 3:30...but I come in today and my boss set up a sax player to come in and proform at fuckin' 3:30...so I have to stay..set it up...serve fuckin' refreshments and then clean up...bitch. Grrrr
and no doubt the music will suck...I will update to let everyone know. |

Its been 12 years since I have been to the disney theme parks. Jewel is a lucky girl and she just went down there....then today i was flipping through the channels and I saw a Travel Channel special on the parks. So much has changed about the parks...and Gosh...ANIMAL KINGDOM too! I stopped to watch because of Jewel being there..but it started to make Erin and I sad. There is almost no way we are going to get to go again for YEARS. It looked like so much fun...and I was jealous as crap. Silly really and it wasn't really Jewel I was jealous of....just the fact that they are having the time of my life. Its hard not to be a little jealous. I just want to go so bad. I love theme parks and busch gardens VA has nothing on a disney park. Oh well. One day I guess.
Now stop whining...you have many many things to do girl.... (stolen to do list idea)
